Overview
JetRover is an advanced ROS-based mobile robot developed by Hiwonder for robotics education, research, and application development. Description
JetRover supports three different mobile chassis configurations—Mecanum wheel, Ackermann steering, and crawler track—allowing it to adapt to various terrains and motion requirements. Powered by the NVIDIA Jetson Nano, the robot delivers strong AI computing performance for real-time perception and control tasks.
The system combines high-precision magnetic encoder motors with a 6-degree-of-freedom robotic arm, enabling accurate motion control and complex manipulation. Equipped with advanced sensors and interaction hardware, including LiDAR, a 3D depth camera, a 7-inch LCD screen, and a 6-channel far-field microphone array, JetRover can perform SLAM mapping, autonomous navigation, obstacle avoidance, object recognition and grasping, voice interaction, and multi-robot coordination.
JetRover provides a comprehensive platform for learning and developing robotics technologies such as ROS, autonomous driving, computer vision, and human–robot interaction.
